VOLCANO is born from the encounter between silver and obsidian, a natural volcanic material formed by the rapid cooling of lava.
The stone does not represent the volcano. It is a real trace of it.
Around it, silver takes shape like matter still in motion, charged with heat, suspended in the moment when something is destroyed and something new begins to exist.
The fire disappears. matter preserves the memory.
ORIGIN
Everything begins beneath the surface.
Pressure, heat, and matter rise from the depths until they break the balance of the earth.
Lava emerges, changes form, and cools.
From this process, obsidian is born.
In VOLCANO, it becomes the core of the piece: not an element added to the sculpture, but the point from which the sculpture itself seems to originate.
THE MATTER
Black, deep, irregular in the way it catches the light.
Obsidian carries within it the physical memory of transformation: matter that was once liquid, incandescent, uncontrollable, and that time has made solid.
Silver grows around the stone like a surface shaped by the same tension.
Two different materials seem to belong to the same event.
THE TRANSFORMATION
A volcano destroys and creates in the same act.
It reshapes the landscape, erases what exists, and deposits the matter from which a new surface will emerge.
VOLCANO is born from this paradox.
It does not celebrate destruction, but what can exist after it.
The previous form disappears.
Matter remains.

For each order, the ring is individually hand-sculpted from a block of wax and built around its own obsidian, in the size of the person who will wear it.
The gesture can never be repeated exactly.
Textures, volumes, and details naturally vary from one piece to another.
The identity remains the same. The form will never be identical.

The form is not defined beforehand. It is built directly around the stone, following its proportions, presence, and materiality.
The wax is carved, incised, and shaped by hand until stone and structure become a single form.
