MEDUSA (Médousa), meaning “protectress”, “guardian”.

Together with Steno and Euriale, she is one of the three Gorgons, daughters of the sea deities Forco and Ceto. According to the myth, the Gorgons could petrify anyone who met their gaze, and Medusa was the only one who was not immortal.
